EDIT: Oh cool, it did revert. But for some reason I think this looks better, oddly enough. Yay for design cohesion. Well, first off, I wonder if my journal skin is going to disappear now that this is my first journal since my subscription evaporated. Either way, it's not that much of a concern, because at least in that regards I don't feel nearly as vain as I have in the past. But I digress; I exist. I'm a senior now, three years of university have come and gone complete with my wonderfully sporadic journal entries, but perhaps the third time is the charm. Or maybe this is the fourth time. I don't know anymore. But either way, I really don'

Okay, I'm never ever going to get anything done if I constantly labor under the impression that you can't exist on deviantArt without a super special awesome gallery with which to back up your comments and such. And, as luck would have it, and was probably blatantly obvious from my conspicuous falling-off-the-face-of-the-earth from the past few months, real life's done a brilliant job of keeping me from really producing much of any art, and has also done a great job of making me look at much of what I've published and hold my nose. I'm ever increasingly close to saying "Screw it, I'm a writer, why am I still even trying?" It's a depressingly

This was almost titled "Getting the old journal off" until I realized that that may have unintentionally provoked some snickers. I just wanted to get that month-old journal off my page as well as that increasingly silly alliteration. I'll have up a journal with more substance later on in the week, ideally, along with some actual bona fide artwork, though it's not likely that too many people care. I've got to remind myself to be optimistic, though. I've also got to reassure myself that it's early in the deployment of the Transformers: Animated toyline, and not everyplace is going to have the toys yet. Oh well, easier on my budget, that. Al

favourite artist is greg huculak? really?
Astoundingly belated response here, but it's really a bit more incidental and rather silly, really. I particularly happened to like the character design and art style for the Bardel series Silverwing, and noted that he happened to be listed as the Character Designer in the credits. I guess it's not necessarily the best to call him a favorite from just one property, but I just wanted some way of indicating that I liked it. That's of course assuming that he was responsible for it in the first place.

I dunno, like I said, it's kind of silly.
good stuff in your gallery!!!
Greetings and salutations!

This generic notice has been submitted to your personal community message board on account of your having exhibited an enviable flare for artistic delivery through use of your gallery space, in conjunction with a presumed affinity (to a certain degree) with the enduring Transformers franchise. As one might credibly discern from my elected pseudonym, I am something of an unabashed Transfan, myself!

So why the impromptu dissertation, you might well ask? :aww: Simply put, I am seeking to make new acquaintances, through the basis of common interest. ;) With the protracted Hollywood Writer's Strike™ now reportedly brought to an acceptable resolution, production on the Dreamworks picture, "Transformers 2", seems good to go. :boogie: Whether this is a good thing or not, however, remains to be seen... Which would bring me to my primary contention: upon its much-anticipated theatrical release, I (foolhardily?) instigated a quasi-official discussion thread with regard to public impressions of Michael Bay's take on this beloved premise. :D The forum in question can be conveniently found here: [link]

Please rest assured that one needn't feel compelled to digest the entirety of my long-winded review (I do admittedly comport a tendency to WAFFLE...!). :blahblah: Rather, I'd just like to hear what you may have thought of "Transformers" (the movie, the mythos, the merchandising), what you might conceivably be expecting of "Transformers 2" (hopes, fears, rumours), hell, even just what you might happen to think of "Transformers: Animated", for that matter! The topic is open for interpretation (within reason), so feel free to swing by and have your say. :ahoy:

Hope to hear from you soon! :excited:

Thanks for the fav :)
